I remember seeing Babes in Toyland on TV as a kid (obviously, I always liked the 1960s variation with Annette Funicello much better than the 80s variation). My preferred scene was when they g0t to drive around in those little battery powered automobiles. I constantly wished I had among my own! Who didn’t, best ?!?
Well, these classic toy trucks aren’t battery powered, but they look super festive and charming! And, they make a great addition to the Toyland of my dreams!
Corey and I had a lot of enjoyable finding different types of vintage toy cars all summertime long in flea markets, auctions and estate sales. Some were really well-liked and played with! We had an even better time cutting them for the vacations!
Move over gingerbread houses, we have actually got a new holiday job for the household!
Embellishing a gingerbread house is enjoyable, however these vintage trucks last all season long and make less of a mess. And, your kids might even just embellish any old toy automobile from their collection.
