This month’s theme for Expressions Vinyl is KITCHEN! I’ve been wanting to make a measurement conversion sign since I saw a cute one at Hobby Lobby many moons ago. So perfect excuse to get cracking!
I’ve been making these frames like crazy (big blog post about how to make them HERE) And I thought they would be perfect for some vinyl!
For the free cut file go HERE (Silhouette studio!)
and here for an SVG!!
If you are looking to sale products made with this cut file please purchase a commercial license HERE! (This will let you use ANY of the free cut files I offer on my blog! If you are having a crafting day and want to use this to whip up a cute sign or tote bag…than totally free!
edited to add: So many people have requested this as a free printable…so I made one! Grab it here!
Cut it out in whatever vinyl tickles your fancy! So many fun colors to choose from! After I cut it out you weed away all the parts of the vinyl that aren’t part of your design!
Then cover with some transfer tape (seriously…this stuff is worth it’s weight!) rub it down really well!
since it’s such a giant piece (12x 18 inches) I didn’t want to mess it up when placing it on the frame…
So let me show you a trick! I snip of the end piece of the backing.
Lay it where I want on the frame and rub it good.
Then slowly peel back the backing while smoothing the front piece.
Give it a good rub down
and then peel up the transfer tape! You are left with an awesome piece of artwork!
Check out all my free cut files!
and if you make anything–I would LOVE LOVE LOVE To see it!
