Kid Friendly House Design: The Living Room

Having kids and gorgeous house style don’t normally go together but when we constructed our home (pre-kids) 3 years earlier, we constructed it and designed it knowing we wished to start a household here. My spouse and I had absolutely different design styles, he was way more modern and I was more traditional/shabby trendy (is that even a thing?). But we integrated our styles with one typical objective: make a comfy-cozy house that can endure the test of time (aka our future tiny people). After over 2 years of having our kids in this home I can truthfully state we did quite great. I LOVE the performance and look a lot that I thought it would be fun to take you on a tour of our house, one space at a time, in an enjoyable brand-new blog series. In this series I will publish a room in our home once a month (possibly more often if I can get my act together) for you all to see!
